About meMy name is Tanya Pierre and I am currently a junior at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia majoring in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology on the Pre-Med track. For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in becoming a medical doctor, but upon entering college my desire to pursue research has grown. Currently I am considering the idea of pursuing a MD-PHD, but struggling to find a field that interests me among all the exciting research opportunities. I look forward to learning more about toxicology and finding an area of research that is perfect for me. Aside from school I enjoy volunteering with local community organizations and making science appealing as a member of my campus Chemistry and Biochemistry club.
